Paciano

The beautiful walled medieval hill town of Paciano dates back to the 13th century and sits under Mount Petravella. It has been designated ‘I Borghi piu Belli d’Italia’ - one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Picturesque with its narrow alleyways, cobble stones and stone walls, you enter Paciano through one of three medieval gates. It is recommended to park outside the walls as the streets are quite narrow. Paciano has various festivals throughout the year including a Spring Festival and an Olive Festival.
